Beliefs

We believe in Christian values. We are committed to helping children develop character traits of self-control, gentleness, kindness, compassion, and patience.

We believe in active, hands-on learning. We utilize a High/Scope curricular approach to foster this type of learning.

We believe literacy (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) is a high priority in early childhood education. A positive early childhood experience will promote children’s academic success.

We believe in the benefits of play – and we incorporate a lot of “play with purpose” into our day. Play allows for active learning of social and academic skills.

We believe in community. We will help your children discover their place in the larger community.

We believe in family. We maintain an open door approach to your children’s education. You are always welcome in the classroom.

Most importantly, we believe in children! They are young scientists, artists, dancers, architects – we will always support your children’s creative endeavors and treat them with respect.
