Programs
Pre-School
Full-day preschool is open now! We are enrolling 3, 4, and 5 year-olds. We welcome full-time enrollment and part-time enrollment, as available.
This classroom is staffed by lead teacher Kimberly Babb from 9am-2:30pm and Mychaela Olson from 2:30pm-closing.. Before Kimberly’s arrival, our director Abbey Lutskovsky supervises drop-off, free play and snack.
Children in preschool continue to work on their communication and decision-making skills while building basic skills (such as holding a crayon, using scissors, following directions) and conceptual understanding (numbers, colors, letter/sounds, calendar, etc). They also get time each day to move their large muscles in our indoor gym, and take outside walks or visit our fenced yard as weather permits..
There is still room for more friends in our preschool classroom.
Toddlers
Our toddler room has been open since June, 2009. Limited part-time spots may be available.
This room is the newest addition to our center and it is an active, engaging place for young minds and bodies! Miss Sasha and Miss Laurie involve the children in circle time, crafts, sensory play, free play, gross motor play (in the gym). These young ones are developing their ability to communicate with each other as well as with adults, and most kids are also actively potty-training.
In the Fall of 2010, we’ve added Miss Kela to our teaching team, and aides support the teachers when the group size is larger than 5 kiddos.
Infants
Our infant room opened in March 2009! We have the capacity for 8 children bewtween 6 weeks and 23 months of age. We do maintain a waiting list, so please plan ahead.
The infants’ and young toddlers’ day incorporates lots of music, reading, baby signs, talking, and holding. As children get ready to transition to the toddler classroom, more structured group activities are planned. When weather permits, we take our little ones outside in their strollers for a nice stroll through our business park.
This room is staffed by 3 wonderful teachers: Miss Alisha, Miss Sally, Miss Jessa, and our outstanding center aides.
