Our infant room is designed to be a safe, soothing, and fun place for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 23 months. As children grow and reach various milestones, we rotate the toys and equipment to best meet their needs. Our classroom is a shoe-free environment, in an effort to keep the room as clean as possible.

The staff in our infant room do a great job! They engage the babies by talking, singing, smiling, laughing and signing  with the children. Routine times, such as diapering and feeding, are used as opportunities to bond. Our staff value the relationship with parents, and can often be heard conversing with parents at drop-off and pick-up times, as well as on those occasions when moms come in to nurse their little ones.

The daily routine in our infant room is fairly consistent, but varies according to the needs of the children each day. The daily routine in our infant room includes time for diapering, feeding, floor play, outside walks, tummy time for those who need it, and many opportunities for holding, rocking, and interaction with staff and other children.
